Greetings! I’m Lyle Hatch, the face behind the “Boring Old Guy” YouTube channel. As an outdoor enthusiast, my passion for exploration has taken me on a journey through the picturesque landscapes of my home territory, the Pacific Northwest.

What do I do?
You’ll frequently find me on hiking trails, capturing breathtaking visuals and narrating my adventures as a vlogger and photographer. Whether I’m venturing into the heart of the forest, finding serenity along the ocean shores, or chasing cascades of waterfalls, nature is both my sanctuary and my connection to something greater than myself

Summit, my faithful four-legged companion, is always leading the way. Her untamed energy makes her my steadfast trailblazer and, more than anything, my best friend. Our travels and hikes take us from hidden backroads to the well-known trails and designated wilderness areas of national forests. Camping is an art we’ve joyfully embraced!
